NTAHC Membership

Benefits of Membership
  • We're the largest club in Region 9 with over 250 members
  • Our club leadership is active in the Arabian horse industry as well as the Arabian Horse Association at the local, regional, and national levels
  • We host 2 Class A shows annually - the Mayfest Challenge in Ft Worth each May, and the Shootout Show in Glen Rose, TX each November
  • We host an annual Arabian Community Show as well as a "Catch the Spirit" event annually that gives beginners of any age a riding lesson on an Arabian, as well as demonstrations of the different show disciplines
  • We host the annual "Blue Jean Ball" – a social event for members and guests each fall - which includes dinner, entertainment, and a horse showcase of some kind [in previous years we have had stallion presentations and private treaty offerings of bloodstock].
  • We have done many other things in the community to promote Arabians, like taking some horses for people to "meet" at the IMAX Young Black Stallion Movie, volunteering at the Black Stallion Literacy Program event in Ft Worth, etc
  • We have a monthly member and board meeting the first Tuesday of every month at the Abuelo’s Restaurant in Lewisville, TX at 7:00pm; email Lisa Skalski to confirm the date.

  • The NTAHC Annual Member Meeting and Officer Elections are held at the NTAHC Shootout Show in Glen Rose, TX at approximately 12:00 noon the Saturday of the show. The 2010 meeting will be held on Nov. 13, 2010.
